St. Vincent de Paul Society

This ministry serves people who are in need. Our primary outreach for which we volunteer is the food pantry, which is open on Monday and Thursday mornings from 9:00 am to 11:30 am.

We also help parish shut-ins and those with emergencies.

St. Vincent de Paul Society collects food, aluminum cans and cash donations on a periodic basis, as well as plastic bags.

 Food Pantry Collection

Last month our food pantry served 1,212 individuals from 285 households, including 573 children.

Donations are collected at the church doors after all Masses.Thank you for your generosity.

Christmas Gift Bags

Many thanks to all who donated Kleenex, candy, jewelry, writing paper, men's items, lotion, socks, footies, gift bags and tissue paper.  We were able to fill 76 very nice gift bags for the homebound and nursing home parishioners.  Also, thank you to the Art of Faith Ministry for the Christmas cards they made to include in each bag.

Angel Tree

Thank you to all who contributed to our Angel Tree project.  We served 87 families this year with Christmas gifts and food baskets.  Special thanks also from the Center for Youth & Family Solutions.  Our Angel Tree assisted several of their clients. Thank you!

Food Pantry Volunteers

All parishioners are welcome to join as a volunteer for the food pantry.  If you are interested in volunteering to distribute food in the pantry on Monday and Thursday mornings from 9:00 - 11:30 am, please call Laury at 786-2881.

If you are interested in working at the pantry, please first attend one of our monthly meetings.  At the meeting, you will learn about our food pantry, meet other volunteers, and sign up for days to volunteer at the pantry.

St. Vincent de Paul Society meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm in Farrell Hall. All parishioners are invited.
