We invite you to participate in a new Faith Formation opportunity in 2018!

Perfectly Yourself

Join the online book study and conversation of Matthew Kelly's book Perfectly Yourself.  Each month we will work together to understand and apply one lesson from the book.  We will use this page as a resource to share ideas and encourage each other as we work together to become "perfectly ourselves."

Please join the conversation on the website and utilize the worksheet located to help you with this online “book study.”

For a detailed description of the month-by-month syllabus, please visit the Perfectly Yourself page.

Alpha is a program which helps us to explore big questions, like: Is there more to life than this? Who is Jesus? Why did Jesus die? How can I make the most of the rest of my life? Each session begins with a meal and includes a presentation and time for discussion.

Join us Monday, beginning January 8th, from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. for our first session.

Call the rectory at (309) 793-7373 to reserve your place on this great journey or contact Deacon Joe or Mary Anne Dockery-Jackson at (309) 786-2385.

Lectio Divina

Thursday Mornings after the 8:00 a.m. Mass

Pope Francis explains Lectio Divina as:

"There is one particular way of listening to what the Lord wishes to tell us in His Word and letting ourselves be transformed by the Spirit.  It is what we call lectio divina.  It consists of reading God's Word in a moment of prayer and allowing it to enlighten and renew us . . ."

We will be praying Lectio Divina every Thursday morning, following the 8:00 a.m. morning Mass, in McCarthy Hall.  Come and experience this ancient prayer of the Church.  No registration is required and no experience needed!

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Barbara Roedel at 793-7373, ext. 214,  or email:
